I can't even believe this bargain that I got at Target. I had already noticed this set a couple of weeks ago but I didn't want to spend $40 on it, even though its probably worth every penny, I was being cheap. Anyway, at $19.98 I couldn't resist and I used my Target Red Card so it was another 5% off. I've used the small flat top brush and a couple of other ones and of course they're great. I have some of her other brushes and I think they're beautiful, sturdy, easy to use, you name it! And I think even though I am frugal, they are good value for the money because if you look at other brushes that do the same thing, are the same quality but are way more expensive, these are a good price. |
I'm really excited about this blog because I am so passionate about make up! I'm by no means an expert and I am constantly learning new things that I hope to pass on to my readers. Make up should be fun and not just something women look at as a time consuming part of their routine. I hope you enjoy reading this blog and feel free to leave comments with requests. ***Everything I review is paid for with my own money unless otherwise stated.***

FOTD 16 of 100 2.21.2012
This is a very similar look to an EOTD I did recently. But I am really loving the Maybelling 24 Hr. Color Tattoo cream e/s.
I can never remember all the products I use. I always to write them down. But I'll do my best!!
Products:
Maybelling 24 Hr. Color Tatto - Pomegranate Punk
Tarte for True Blood palette - Immortal, Charmer, and the Light (the only one I'm not 100% positive about is the Light)
I have no idea which lip gloss I'm wearing lol
Maybelling Fit Me liquid and powder foundation
ELF Cream Liner - black
Not sure what I used for blush but you could do either a bronzer or a pink blush with this look.

FOTD 10.3.11 and NYC Limited Edition Palette Review
I was in CVS recently and I saw this palette by NYC and I fell in love immediately (like I do with lots of makeup products). The main reason is because it is the most colorful palette I have seen from NYC. Other than their duos that they had out. But as far as 4 pan palettes with primer and highlighter, I really loved this one. I have another one from NYC and I love the primer and the quality of the eyeshadow so I knew I would love it. This palette says its for green eyes but as you can see, mine are brown and I think it worked just fine.
I love the primer that comes with this. Its very creamy but it doesn't crease. And you can definitely see a huge difference with and without. It's also very easy to blend the eyeshadow over it.
The silver/gray in this palette isn't really that pigmented but I think it's great for day wear. As a matter of fact, the look I did today was for work. If you built on it, I'm sure it could be used for a night look as well.
